This morning I checked out of the Grand Hotel and made my way via Shinkansen and then Nartia Express to Narita Town, for a visit to Tani Koi Farm

So today was my last day in Niigata as I am travelling back to Narita tomorrow and visiting another Koi farm on the way.

Today was our last day of general hunting for koi, as tonight Joachim is travelling back and I have a couple of appointments with specific breeders tomorrow and Friday.

Following on from yesterday Joachim and I spent another day today looking at some great koi at many of Niigatas top breeders.

Having spent a very intensive three days taking pictures and video at the All Japan Show I decided today would be a camera free day.  I have been joined for a few days by Joachim Clement from Kokugyo Koi 't Viske and so after walking down to collect the hire car and swapping greetings on route with Mike Snaden and his group who were doing the same, it was off to see some koi.
