Today we were going to be visiting two koi farms which I have much about and was really looking forward to visiting, Takigawa and then Yamatoya.

Today was certainly something I wasnt expecting to be on the itinerary when I was on the flight out her, attending a harvest !  Omosaka san had invited us to attend the harvest of his oyagoi which had been kept in a mud pond over winter

What a great way to start my tour of the breeders in southern Japan.  A day spent at Momotaro for the Spring Auction.

Well today was a pretty sad day from a koi point of view as I didn't get to see one all day long, due to the fact I was travelling to Fukuyama in Hiroshima

Spent a couple of hours with Saito san this morning as I wanted to get some updated information on how the Nexus is working for him and also get some pics to show people how his existing filtration is set up
