Today was certainly something I wasnt expecting to be on the itinerary when I was on the flight out her, attending a harvest !  Omosaka san had invited us to attend the harvest of his oyagoi which had been kept in a mud pond over winter

Today Saito san decided as it was Sunday he would arrange a family afternoon outing with his wife Hirome san and his two sones Kensuke and Kosuke.  I guess he was just undecided on whether to go to the park, cinema, bowling etc, and so instead he settled on taking them to harvest his female oyagoi!

Today was the second day of the Kato san harvest and the weather was in stark contrast to yesterday.  As I drove down route 17 to collect Mark once again the sun was burning gloriously in the sky above.

This morning was the first day of the Kato san harvests, something I attend each year and enjoy tremendously.  We met as agreed at Nogami's and had to wait a while as it was raining heavily.

This morning upon arrival in Mushigame, Shintaro advised that he had decided to harvest his male oyagoi (parents) at 10am.
