After yesterdays bad weather I woke up this morning expecting to see more of the same, however as I looked out of the window, despite a covering of snow remaining there was a clear blue sky and bright sunshine.

Surprisingly I managed to sleep through until 6am this morning, however when I woke up and looked out of the window I was pretty disappointed.  It was snowing heavily.

Once again I had a pretty uneventful journey to Japan

This morning I checked out of the Grand Hotel and made my way via Shinkansen and then Nartia Express to Narita Town, for a visit to Tani Koi Farm

So today was my last day in Niigata as I am travelling back to Narita tomorrow and visiting another Koi farm on the way.
