Always Take Your Camera

Posted by gibbo in Japan

Blog PictureHaving spent a very intensive three days taking pictures and video at the All Japan Show I decided today would be a camera free day.  I have been joined for a few days by Joachim Clement from Kokugyo Koi 't Viske and so after walking down to collect the hire car and swapping greetings on route with Mike Snaden and his group who were doing the same, it was off to see some koi.

An Intensive Day Behind The Lense

Posted by gibbo in Koi Shows , Japan

Blog PictureThis morning I was up bright and early to get to the show and continue work.  Last night we had returned to the hotel using the shuttle bus from the hotel at the exhibition centre, and so knowing where this departed I used this to avoid the taxi queue (and fare).  I wanted to arrive early as you always get some koi which dont want to behave for photographs, and I find first thing in the morning they are calmer, having had the night period without the air being removed.
