Well its farewell to Nagaoka until next January, as today I checked out of the Grand Hotel and spent the day travelling down to Izumo City in Shimane Prefecture

Today was my last full day in Niigata as tomorrow I will be travelling South to Shimane prefecture, where I will be attending the ZNA All Japan Show.

Today was part 2 of the Cooper's whirlwind tour and we were off without delay to catch as many breeders as possible. 

The title of this post is a little tongue in cheek, as there is no such thing as just another day in my book when touring around Yamakoshi.  Each day produces something new, whether it be locating a new breeder, observing new koi, or finding out a bit of information that someone chooses to divulge.

Today Saito san decided as it was Sunday he would arrange a family afternoon outing with his wife Hirome san and his two sones Kensuke and Kosuke.  I guess he was just undecided on whether to go to the park, cinema, bowling etc, and so instead he settled on taking them to harvest his female oyagoi!
