As always our trips are about more than simply buying koi and we are extremely pleased to announce that visitors joining us for the All Japan Show 2010 will be able to experience some Exclusive Breeder Training Seminars, in the week following the show.
For most hobbyists the opportunity to learn about Nishikigoi directly from the breeders themselves is nothing more than a dream. Even for those who visit Japan, this will usually be at busy periods such as the autumn harvests when the breeders have very little time to spare and their focus is on harvesting and selling.
Therefore we extremely please to be able to offer this very opportunity to visitors accompanying us to the All Japan Show in 2010.
The trip will begin by attending the All Japan Show, which is undoubtedly the best koi show in the world. The show has been moved to Niigata for one year only and promises to be the best ever, with many initiatives to encourage a record number of entries.
After leaving the show on the Sunday afternoon we will travel the short distance to Nagaoka where we will be based for the following week whilst we tour Yamakoshi and the surrounding areas, visiting many of the breeders for customers to view and perhaps select from the many koi they still have available.
During this time several of the breeders have kindly agreed to organise exclusive training seminars at their premises to teach our group of visitors about some of the finer aspects of their koi.
This is an amazing opportunity and a rare chance to ask questions and gain a better understanding of koi appreciation directly from some of Niigata's top breeders.
Spaces on the trip are extremely limited to ensure everyone gets the maximum opportunity to benefit from the experience.
For those wishing to make the trip but unable to make these dates we will also be based touring Yamakoshi in the week prior to the show and have limited spaces remaining for this week.
