We have now confirmed the dates for our April 2010 trip which is already fully booked !!!
We leave the UK on 24th March 2010 and arrive in Japan on the evening of 25th, when we will be travelling straight to Nagaoka City in Niigata Prefecture.
After spending a few days here we will then be travelling South to visit a few breeders on the way to Kyushu for the AJNPA All Japan Young Koi Show 2010 also known as the Wakagoi Show which is being held from 2nd April - 4th April at the same venue as last year.
After the show we have a long journey on the afternoon to get back to Nagaoka City in the evening ready for our new group of customers the following day.
From 5th April until 10th April we will be joined by Gene Winstead from Koi Village in the USA, along with his party. Gene is a great huy who I first met some 5 years ago at Koi America and I'm really looking forward to spending some time with him as I know he shares my passion for Japan.
Not only will Gene be selecting his own stocks but he is also compiling a list of special koi for customers who are unable to travel to Japan, so if you are in the USA and looking for something specific why not get in contact with Gene and let him know. I know we will both enjoy the challenge of hunting down and fulfilling these requirements.
As always the blog will be updated daily wherever possible with information about our exploits as well as news from the Wakagoi Show, so keep checking.
