Put quite simply we offer trips to Japan which are focused on you and your requirements.

Because our trips are all about YOU, the client, the daily schedule is tailored to your individual requirements.  Because we do not deal in Nishikigoi we have no commercial influence which could affect who we do (or don't) visit, as may well be the case with agent.s  We are not purchasing koi and therefore it is of no consequence to us which breeders we visit, how long we spend at each, or whether we do something entirely different. We can spend every hour in search of particular koi or alternatively accompany you to Shows, Auctions, Bullfights, Harvests, Temples and other sites of interest or even Shopping.  It's YOUR trip, YOU decide.

• No Purchasing Commitment
  We do not sell Nishikigoi and therefore there is no emphasis or commitment to purchasing koi.  Of course you are more than welcome to purchase koi during your trip,and should you do so all purchases are commission free.

• We don't use Agents
  We have no need to use the services of an agent which could cause similar commercial influences as mentioned above, and could also add significantly to the cost of purchases.  Agents don't work for free and make their livelihood from the commission earned through koi sales, which will have been charged in addition to any dealers commission.  Please note we are not criticising such practices, just highlighting them, and the fact that we chose to cover our own costs through an alternative method
  
  
• Trips Open to Everyone
  We are willing and able to entertain private hobbyists, dealers or even groups or clubs from across the globe, however please understand that the only languages we currently speak are English and a reasonable amount of Japanese.

• Focused on your needs
  Obviously a group may consist of several individuals with different desires and therefore there may need to be a certain amount of give and take, however we try and tailor our trips with groups of likeminded clients to ensure any conflicts are minimal.  For example we would consider it a bad idea to combine dealers and hobbyists on the same dates (unless the dealer has arranged for their own customers to accompany them), and equally new visitors wishing to experience the area may well have different needs to an experienced individual who is visiting solely to search for particular koi.

• Dicreet Service
  We pride ourselves on discretion and are more than proficient in accompanying clients who would rather that their visit and/or their purchases were not publicly known.  We have no desire to repeatedly advertise our clientel list, or the success they may have with koi purchased whislt visiting with ourselves.  We do maintain a blog to try and share information with those unable to visit the area, however we careful not to publish information that people would rather remained confidential.
